This book is the closest to the GED test I have seen. I purchased different books and this one prepared me the most for what I was about to encounter on the test. Because I took the math module twice unsuccessfully, I had a very good idea how the material should be presented to have a successful outcome. That's why I decided to purchase this book. After preparing in this book, I passed the math module and all the other modules and received my diploma.Thank you
This is a great book for GED practice. I highly recommend this book. When I was planning on taking my GED test last year I needed something that would help me. Since I had been out of school for quite a few years I knew Math and some Science would be tricky for myself. My mother was looking around and suggested this book to me. I went for it and it was the best choice I could have made. This book covers everything that you will need in the tests.This book has a really amazing Math section. I have issues with algebra and this book broke it down in a way that made sense to me. Math can hurt me unless it's first broken down. I highly recommend studying the geometry section in the Math part. I studied everything in this book but when I went to take my Math test I wasn't expecting nearly as much geometry as there was. So, if you have trouble with that study study study!
This book is the best ever. My attention spand is very short, so long and drawn out explanations do not work for me. I have never been able to learn from a book because I learn better hands on, but this book explains the solution to the math problems in a way anyone can grasp. If you are going for your GED, this book is a wonderful tool to have. Get the book you will not regret it.
I do not particularly like the new curriculum for the GED, but this is a comprehensive book that can guide a student through to a degree if they work through it all. I really dislike the TI calculator that is being used, and this book tries to instruct in its use. I have an advanced degree in chemistry and am quite good in math. but I cannot get the calculator to give me correct answers by this book's instructions.
I like the layout of this book and the information is helpful. I am using it to help my home schooled daughter practice for her GED. I am very happy with the material, my only complaint is the videos are vague. I would like to see one video for each lesson, instead of one video at the beginning of each section. I would also prefer more practice options, but the ones provided are sufficient enough. I would recommend this to anyone studying for the GED.

This is a great study guide for the GED test. I bought it for my husband and I can tell you from my personal experience with the GED test that you won't find one thing on that test that isn't in this study guide. I also recommend buying the flash carda that go along with this study guide.
