This South Beach Diet beginners guide teaches us how to improve overall health. With the short overview, I've learned that our body should be consuming the right fats, right carbohydrates, lean source of protein and plenty of fiber which are the principles of South Beach Diet. Recipes are well-created and I think they all delicious and definitely healthy. Very nice cookbook.

The beginning of following the south beach diet is quite hard for me so far but I don’t give up. The chicken is what really saves me during the first phase – I love it very much and have it several times a day.

This is an excellent cookbook that has all the necessary information about south beach diet. The book also includes many recipes that take less than 15 minutes to prepare, plus quick-cook deals.

It seems the author Emma Green has written a book on every popular and/or fad diet known to man just to ride the skirt tale of their success and make a buck for herself. This book was POORLY put together! The graphics in the beginning of the book are blurry; they can be read, but look like a copy, of a copy, of a copy..... The first 2 recipes I read had errors. Pistachio Biscotti (pg 55) the baking time is listed as 20 minutes, but if you read the directions it is 20 minutes PLUS 10 MORE minutes to bake again. When professionally publishing a book, please get your basic math correct! EVER WORSE she has a Stuffed Pork Burger (pg 70) marked as "Phase 1" and pork and bread are FORBIDDEN on Phase 1. Page 7 claims the book has "mostly Phase 1 recipes" but actually has TWICE as many Phase 2 recipes than Phase 1. She contradicts Dr. Agatston who created the South Beach Diet and do not see "DR." by her name! I could go on, but you get the picture. This recourse CAN NOT be trusted ! ! ! !

Personally, my wife and I really enjoy reading this book.All of the South Beach Diet recipes, tips and guides that I need to know about how to lose weight easily and reduce our risk of heart disease and stay healthy are already included and well guided inside. Emma Green is a great author on this topic.Overall, this book is helpful, informative and well written.

I helped my mom get this book because she was interested in trying this South beach Diet. This is a great combination book of dietary and nutrition information along with recipes. I am a great fan of anything that has to do with the South beach Diet. The recipes are fantastic, have tried a good number of these and they are delicious. Nice recipe picture, explanation of diet and how it works. I also bought the cookbook for more recipes and food choices.

This is great book for diet. Lots of recipes that are helpful for diet. I have found that any diet I follow has to be one I can integrate into my day-to-day lifestyle and meal plans.South beach diet is an appropriate and ultimate guide book particularly for beginners. I would highly recommended this book everyone.

Useful and lovely recipes here. For example, Avocado Tomato Salad with Pine Nuts is hearty and healthy dish that has a savory taste. I love this salad! I like the idea that with South Beach Diet I can eat foods that provided by this diet and the South Beach Diet can help anyone to not just gain weight again.
