The cards are poorly aligned to the AP Chemistry Test.For instance:- Questions on nomenclature (not on AP Test)- Questions on identifying glassware (not on AP Test)- Questions on organic nomenclature (not on AP Test)- Questions on Bond Order (not on AP test)- Questions on Paramagnetism/Diamagnetism (not on AP Test, as molecular orbital theory is not on AP test either)I was hoping to get these as an additional resource for my students to review for the AP Test but they are not helpful

We used these in my AP Chem class. The students liked them and would sit and go through them voluntarily on their own. They are durable and had a lot of information. Good general knowledge but no complex math etc.

The cards don't ask multiple choice questions, instead they give the student a problem to solve, a definition, or a concept to explain. The explanations in the back are thorough. It also gave my daughter a chance to figure out what she didn't understand and made it possible for me to be able to help her study.

10/10 I'm memorizing 5 cards every day, I'll be done in about 3-5 months

Am very happy with these so far. I'm using them to quiz my knowledge for the Praxis test (not an AP test), and they are helpful.

came with a lot more words than I was expecting. Covers every category. Helpful for students struggling with vocabulary.

 Joseph Catimbang is a new artist for me. Based on the cover, I was somehow expecting a doodle animal type of design. That was wrong. The designs are of animals bedecked, surrounded and literally part of the plants and flowers that surround them. I would never have expected an animal in flowers to still have a menacing type quality, but it is so with these designs at times. It is different and I like it!There are 52 designs in the book which are printed on one side of the page. That is a great amount of designs and as it is on one side, you can use whatever medium you like that might bleed through (provided you use a page under to get the bleeding from ruining the pages below. It is also easy to remove a page as they are all perforated. I appreciate the thought that went into the making of this coloring book.Each of the designs has many hidden objects. While I could find most of them without aid, there is a key at the back of the book which lists what are included in each design and where to find them in the next.It’s a fun book to have and will be fun to color. It is detailed and at times, it is intricate to color. I’ll be looking forward to this artist’s new book next year.This is what I found in this coloring book52 Animal designs with an abundance of flowers and hidden objects (key included at the back of the book)The designs are printed on side of the pagePaper is the white, thick, slightly rough and perforated.Glue Binding with perforated pages.The designs do not merge into the binding. There is a framing line at the outer edges for a more finished look.Alcohol-based markers bleed through the page. If you use this media, I suggest using a blotter page under your working page. I like card stock as it keeps ink from seeping through and damaging the pages below.Water-based markers, gel pens and India ink pens do not bleed through and did not leave shadows on the back of the page.Coloring pencils work similarly with this paper. I am able to get good pigment (color) lay down, layer the same color and multiple colors and blend well with a pencil style blending stick with both oil and wax based pencils. I must admit I like the layered blending using oil based pencils best; however, a liquid blender works equally well with both styles.

One sided pics which I prefer to the 2 sided pics in Kerby's books. These pics. are intwined mainly in flowers, plants, andeveryday items. Like Rosanes also there are search's to be made. Paper is very nice, and being one sided I can use sticklesglitter glue, or liquid pearls without worry of leakage onto a pic on the other side. I'm now going to order his next book,because this one is simply marvelous.

I don't think the author here was going for imitating anyone. The designs are his own...and they are lovely. There is a border around each image and the image is then, centered on the page. I DO wish there were 2-page spreads as I love those and am likely one of only a few who feel this way. I think 2-page spreads add so much to an illustration. Without them, it's as if part of the image has been chopped off. BUT, the images are so cool. As I'm coloring, I always find something else in the design that I didn't see originally and I love that.The paper is thick and the tooth of the paper is excellent- great for blending. I use gel pens for highlights and there was no shadowing or even an indent when I used them. Further, the book has a great binding. I have been using this book a lot and there is no chance of pages coming loose from the binding.The price! Outstanding. I can see me buying another copy to use a different medium and at the price point, I can do this without guilt!There ARE some small spaces so please keep this in mind.My thanks to the author. I love this book so much! I'm looking forward to the next book as this one has been so much fun to color in and did not disappoint!

Such a beautiful book. The art is fantastic and it's fun to find all the 15 hidden objects per picture. Paper is great for pencils and we medium with light water application. Highly recommend this book for colorists who love animals and tiny details!!

This is the first time that I have seen or aquired any by this artist, Joseph Catimbang. Based solely upon this book, he is definitely in my top five of favorite artists. This book is literally breathtaking.The line art is printed, single sided, on very bright white paper, that is it the way........ perforated!!!! The paper is a very nice weight with a beautiful, the f not perfect tooth for colored pencils. Be still my heart! LOLI won't spend a great deal of time on how different media react on the paper, because many others have done that. What I will say is that this is definitely for a more advanced colorist who has the patience for intricate art. If you don't like intricate, tiny spaces to color, this book is definitely NOT for you. On the other hand, if you are like me, you are in for a big treat. The animals and the way that they are displayed in Mr. Catimbang's art will have you turning summer saults! All kidding aside, you are going to fall in love with this gentleman's artwork.Now, I'm off to pick one of his pictures, with a big cup of coffee, my favorite pencils, and loose myself in coloring. Have a most blessed day, and....COLOR ON!!!
